Super 7 Lottery Draw Prize is 15 Million for August 22

Posted by baadster on August 22, 2008

My August 15 lottery picks were wrong wrong wrong so it is time to pick the wrong winning numbers for the Super 7 August 22 Lottery draw.

In the August 15 draw there were 2 repeats – no hot numbers – only 2 cold and 3 average numbers.

This week I will pick one repeat – one hot – 2 cold and 3 average numbers for the lottery.

This is a guess – there is no relationship whatsoever with any system, special ability, knowledge or powers in this attempt to win the grand prize of 15 million dollars. I will choose my numbers and hope for the best. Another 2 dollars that could have gone to my retirement fund – now given to the government.

The last numbers drawn were:
2, 8, 21, 22, 33, 37, 40 – 11 ( two repeats)
8, 10, 16, 24, 37, 41, 43 – 7 (one repeat)
1, 14, 24, 26, 31, 36, 45 – 13 (no repeats)
4, 5, 28, 29, 32, 39, 40 – 8 (no repeats)
9, 11, 12, 22, 34, 35, 37 – 7 (one repeat)
10, 17, 22, 26, 28, 46, 47 – 3 (no repeats)
7, 16, 32, 39, 41, 44, 45 – 28 (one repeat)
7, 8, 12, 17, 22, 31, 47 – 35 (one repeat)
7, 11, 26, 33, 34, 40, 46 – 25 (three repeats)
1, 10, 15, 24, 26, 33, 42 – 34 (no repeats)
3, 7, 29, 32, 39, 43, 45 – 4

The numbers 7, 10, 24, 34 are “hot” (4 appearances in last 10 draws)
The “cold” numbers 6, 9, 14, 18, 19, 20, 23, 27, 30, 38, have not shown in the last 10 draws.

Everything else is just average.

More speculation later

My August 15 Super 7 Lottery Picks

Posted by baadster on August 15, 2008

My Lottery picks are going to be wrong – they are always wrong – just like all the other so called systems are wrong wrong wrong. OK so now that you know the truth let’s get down to some serious guessing what is going to happen – because no one really knows.

The last numbers drawn were:

The numbers 7, 10, 24, 34 are hot (4 appearances in last 10 draws)
The numbers 2, 6, 9, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 27, 30, 38, have not shown in the last 10 draws.

So what is the magic combination?
none hot, 3 average and 4 cold ??
1 hot, 2 average and 4 cold ??
2 hot, 3 average and 2 cold ??

How many repeats – 0, 1, 2, or 3 ???

I will try 1 hot, 1 repeat, 2 average and 4 cold.

Wish me luck – thats all I have.

August 15 Super 7 Lottery Prize is 12 Million

Posted by baadster on August 10, 2008

August 15 Super 7 Lottery Prize is 12 Million

So my feable attempts to win the August 9th 6/49 lottery prize of 43 million went down. Even our group ticket of 5 sets of numbers only got one bonus number. I can not believe that we did not even get one regular number out of the 30 quick pick numbers we purchased. Bummer.

On our August 8th Super 7 group ticket of 5 numbers and 10 bonus numbers we at least got 4 numbers for a payback of $10. We get to re-purchase a new set of 5 numbers for this next weeks August 15, 2008 Super seven lottery prize of 12 Million dollars.

Speaking of trying to win the Super 7 lottery – I used the terms in Google to see just what is posted.

“The fact that lotteries are commonly played leads to some contradictions against standard models of economic rationality. The expectations of some players may not be to win the game, but to experience the thrill and indulge in a fantasy of possibly becoming wealthy.”

“Insurance, for instance, represents negative expected monetary value but is not considered to be a tax on stupidity because it is generally believed to deliver positive expected utility to the individual.”

“The Dutch were the first to offer money prizes and base prizes on odds. The Dutch lottery proved to be very popular, and was hailed as a painless form of taxation. The English word lottery is borrowed from the Dutch word loterij, which is derived from the Dutch noun lot meaning fate. The Dutch state owned staatsloterij is the oldest still existing lottery.”

We will post recent numbers later in the week.

6/49 Lottery Prize is 43 Million for August 6, 2008

Posted by baadster on August 6, 2008

6/49 Lottery Prize is 43 Million for August 6, 2008

The recent 6/49 winning numbers drawn are:
2, 9, 26, 44, 47, 49 – 34
3, 10, 21, 26, 38, 43 – 48
2, 6, 20, 23, 38, 45 – 24
7, 9, 25, 35, 40, 48 – 1
10, 20, 28, 36, 40, 46 – 23
3, 10, 16, 17, 25, 39 – 19
15, 18, 19, 21, 24, 35 – 37
2, 25, 28, 40, 45, 46 – 34
2, 7, 8, 32, 43, 49 – 48
12, 18, 19, 35, 42, 43 – 44

We all know that previous draws have no influence on this current draw August 6, 2008 – it really is just a matter of luck in a purely random draw.

I put in the search term “How to win the 6/49 lottery” and found more stuff.

There are three types of probabilities, each differing only in interpretation but still subject to the same rules:

Mathematical
The theoretical development based on equally likely outcomes and their far-reaching generalization into measure theory.

Empirical
Events are assigned probabilities based on empirical observations from the past.

Subjective
This was championed by the Italian mathematician Bruno de Finetti and views probabilities as personal reflections of an individual’s opinion about an event.

The probabilities associated with Lotto 6/49 are determined by calculations based on equally likely outcomes.

To see this we observe that there are 49 possibilities for the first number drawn, following which there are 48 possibilities for the second number, 47 for the third, 46 for the fourth, 45 for the fifth, and 44 for the sixth. If we multiply the numbers 49 x 48 x 47 x 46 x 45 x 44 we get 10,068,347,520.

However, each possible group of six numbers (combination) can be drawn in different ways depending on which number in the group was drawn first, which was drawn second, and so on. There are 6 choices for the first, 5 for the second, 4 for the third, 3 for the fourth, 2 for the fifth, and 1 for the sixth. Multiply these numbers out to arrive at 6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 = 720. We then need to divide 10,068,347,520 by 720 to arrive at the figure 13,983,816 as the number of different groups of six numbers (different picks).

Second Prize (five winning numbers + bonus) The pick of six must include 5 winning numbers plus the bonus. Since 5 of the six winning numbers must be picked, this means that one of the winning numbers must be excluded. There are six possibilities for the choice of excluded number and hence there are six ways for a pick of six to win the second place prize. The probability is 6 divided into 13,983,816 which translates into odds of 2,330,635 to 1.

Third Prize (five winning numbers) As in the second prize there are six ways for a pick of six to include exactly five of the six drawn numbers. The remaining number must be one of the 42 numbers left over after the six winning numbers and the bonus number have been excluded. Thus there are a total of 6 x 42 = 252 ways for a pick of six to win the third prize. This becomes a probability of 252 divided into 13,983,816 or odds of 55490.3 to 1.

Fourth Prize (four winning numbers) There are 15 ways to include four of the six winning numbers and 903 ways to include two of the 43 non-winning numbers for a total of 15 x 903 = 13,545 ways for a pick of six to win the third prize, which works out to a probability of 13,545 divided into 13,983,816 that is odds of 1031.4 to 1.

Fifth Prize (three winning numbers) There are 20 ways to include three of the six winning numbers and 12,341 ways to include three of the 43 non-winning numbers for a total of 20 x 12,341 = 246,820 ways for a pick of six to win the fourth prize, which works out to a probability of 246,820 divided into 13,983,816 that is odds of 55.7 to 1.

I will just invest my 2 bucks into six random numbers and hope for the best.

August 2, 2008 6/49 Lottery prize is 36 Million

Posted by baadster on August 2, 2008

Yes it is time to collect all the beer cans and re-cycle-able bottles and invest in the lottery.

The Canada 6/49 lottery prize is 36 million.

The recent 6/49 winning numbers drawn are:

3, 10, 21, 26, 38, 43 – 48
2, 6, 20, 23, 38, 45 – 24
7, 9, 25, 35, 40, 48 – 1
10, 20, 28, 36, 40, 46 – 23
3, 10, 16, 17, 25, 39 – 19
15, 18, 19, 21, 24, 35 – 37
2, 25, 28, 40, 45, 46 – 34
2, 7, 8, 32, 43, 49 – 48
12, 18, 19, 35, 42, 43 – 44

We all know that previous draws have no influence on this current draw August 2, 2008 – it really is just a matter of luck in a purely random draw.

I put in the search term “How to win the 6/49 lottery” and found amazing crap.

Many of these stories all start the same way a poor student started to study stats or the lottery to finish his Phd and found some “system” then developed a software or program and is willing to share this sophistcated system for only x dollars.

They then give some examples” One technique is by looking at the past record of numbers drawn which shows the probability of occurrence of a particular number helping lottery players decide on which numbers to opt for and which ones to avoid”

They all go on to say that the system depends on your ability to understand their “program” – if you do not win it is because you do not understand the program.

Yes – these schemes are pure crap

I will invest in six random numbers – wish me luck – I need a holiday – 36 million would be nice.
