Yes the 25 Million Lottery Grand Prize for the 6/49 Draw on November 29 2008 is available for the lucky person who selects the correct 6 numbers. We all know the math – one chance in over 13 million combinations – I guess if one had enough money to buy all of the combinations at two bucks a pop – you would just about break even.
When I looked at all the numbers for Wednesday draw I picked 2 low numbers and two teens one twenty and one forty. Of course it was completely wrong wrong wrong.
When I look at the past draws here:
26-Nov-2008 Wed 11 33 34 42 43 48 – 7
22-Nov-2008 Sat 09 21 28 37 44 49 – 19
19-Nov-2008 Wed 24 28 34 38 44 45 – 35
15-Nov-2008 Sat 08 09 12 16 19 21 – 47
12-Nov-2008 Wed 12 30 34 38 39 43 – 36
08-Nov-2008 Sat 02 03 19 28 36 45 – 39
05-Nov-2008 Wed 04 13 17 27 35 45 – 34
01-Nov-2008 Sat 18 25 33 40 42 49 – 19
My first instinct is to pick the same sort of low numbers as last week.
When I look at the OLG frequency chart the six most frequent 6/49 winning numbers are big:
31 34 43 40 47 46
I guess my random selection of 4 low numbers goes against what the so called math trends indicate. Thats OK it is just my $2 entertainment expense.
As I read about more and more layoffs in the auto, construction and media industries as well as Oil sands projects put on hold – I like my idea of having 100 new houses and an Ontario made car as mini-grand prizes for the Ontario lottery.
Imagine the headlines “Cranky Lottery Blogger kick-starts the Ontario Economy with practical idea that actually helps Ontario residents”.
Now we just have to wait for some politician to steal the idea – claim it was their idea all along – steal all the credit – then put the idea in place.
I guess I have the same chance of winning the lottery as getting paid for an idea to help the economy.
Good luck everyone

How I Pick my 6/49 Lottery Numbers for the November 26, 2008 Grand Prize of 16,000,000 Canadian Dollars.
The grand prize is large enough for me to switch back to playing the 6/49 this Wednesday. I prefer to get get more numbers for my entertainment expense of $2 but – what can you do when the OLG just wants even more money from us.
Has the OLG not heard that we have an economic crisis? Do they not read that thousands across Ontario are losing their jobs or even when they have a job may not be able to get a mortgage or own their own house.
I think the OLG should change the cost back to $1 and offer 100 house prizes instead of the usual 2 million. Just think of what the construction of 100 new houses each week would do to help the economy here in Ontario. Maybe add a car to the package – as long as the car is made in Ontario. I would like to think that my $1 each week would help put the construction and auto sectors back to work. It certainly would be better use of the funds than wasting the money on the stupid TV ads.
I want to present this “100 Houses Prize Idea” to all of the Canadian Provincial Lottery Commissions and the USA State Lottery Regulators to help pick up their local economies. If you use this idea you have to pay me.
OK now for the important task of picking the winning 6/49 lottery numbers for this Wednesday’s Grand Prize of 16 Million Big Ones. First thing – is to look at the past winning numbers – this does nothing to help – it is just my bad habit – it allows me to fool myself into thinking that it helps pick the future six random numbers that will be drawn.

The first mistake that I usually make is thinking that there is a pattern. Wrong wrong wrong!! The pattern I think I see is based in the pattern of 10’s. Going back it looks like this: 10212 then 00222 then 23100 then 01041 then 21111 then 12111 then 01113. Do you see a pattern? – I don’t. If anyone trys to sell you a sure-fire lottery winning system based on patterns – run in the other direction – you are dealing with a heartless criminal or complete fool. You will lose your money faster than just playing the lottery.
I will just pick six random numbers and the pattern I guess at will be 22101 (just my little joke) – this is my weekly entertainment expense of $2. Good luck everyone – this is all we really have.

Yes it is time to pick the winning numbers for the super seven lottery draw for today November 21, 2008 for the grand prize of 15 Million dollars.
My first decision is “how many tickets to buy”
Usually I just spend 2 dollars as my entertainment expense. But this week due to winning a free ticket 2 weeks in a row and winning $10 bucks with 4 correct numbers I have to decide – do I just use the free ticket and spend the ten bucks – do I use the free lottery tickets and spend my usual 2 dollars or do I go for broke and use all the free tickets and spend the whole ten bucks.
Hmmmm – do I feel lucky (or just foolish)
I think the numbers will be bunched up again (two single digits, two teens, two thirties and a forty.
My guess is really just worth the 2 bucks entertainment expense – I think that I will spend my 10 dollar winnings on a beverage suitable for the upcoming holiday season.
I have copied the last winning numbers and frequency chart that I looked at – we all know that they won’t help change the statistics of winning the lottery.
Good luck with your lottery number picks – Baadster.

How to Win the November 21 2008 Super Seven Lottery 15 Million Grand Prize
You have to either do what the vast majority of super seven winners have done – use quick pick or something less reliable like play the same numbers for 20 years – the IQ of your relatives and boss or seven random numbers.
Last week I suggested: I will not use any cycle system to pick my November 14 super seven lottery numbers. I will go with an almost even distribution of random numbers. (one small, two teens, one twenty, two thirties and one forty).
The winning numbers were: 6, 10, 18, 28, 33, 35, 43 (for once a lucky guess)
Unfortunutely I just picked 4 out of the seven correct numbers to win $10.
This week I will also use seven random numbers. First thing is to check the past numbers – even though this does absolutely nothing to help predict the future.

The November 14 Super Seven Lottery Grand Prize is 12 Million Canadian dollars.
Yes I know it is worth about 22% less since Stephen Harper got re-elected as the minority PM – maybe just how the world voted in our elections Eh?
I will need the 12 million to retire before the sub-prime disasters and current bank credit crunch destroy the economy as we know it.
It is unfortunate that all the smarty pants government economists just have not realized that temporarily dropping the sales tax on the USA and Canadian made cars would do more to stimulate the car buying public and protect local jobs than bail outs.
Now for some more serious comments about todays Super Seven Lottery.
I have looked at some called lottery cycle systems and they are just a more elaborate recording system of what has happened in the past.
Apparently at some points in time some lottery numbers have either appeared consistently every 7 or 8 draws or they have appeared inconsistently for a while then many times in a short period. The cycle boys have just described a random draw.
I do not think that any cycle analysis, or using cycles to predict will give the average lottery player any significant edge in buying the winning lottery ticket. I would not pay any money for a cycle lottery system or cycle analysis tool.
I will not use any cycle system to pick my November 14 super seven lottery numbers. I will go with an almost even distribution of random numbers. (one small, two teens, one twenty, two thirties and one forty).

03-Oct-2008 03 07 09 16 35 41 44 – 46
Good luck everyone with your lottery picks – remember the lottery should be considered as a small entertainment expense – carefully controlled and kept in perspective. The lottery is not an investment!!!

My November 7 super seven lottery experience was a draw. I used ” two low numbers, 13, 14, a twenty, a thirty and a fourty” and won a free ticket. My guess was statistically all wrong wrong wrong. Such is life.
For the November 14 2008 Super Seven Lottery Draw with an estimated grand prize of 12 Million I will start by looking at the latest Super Seven lottery winning numbers to pick my winning lottery numbers. We all know the past draws do not mean anything – it is just a habit – like a ritual – or a superstition. I am guilty.
07-Nov-2008 05 07 08 27 42 44 46 – 06
31-Oct-2008 07 10 13 14 23 39 41 – 16
24-Oct-2008 13 14 25 26 27 35 40 – 17
17-Oct-2008 13 14 15 25 36 38 44 – 24
10-Oct-2008 02 08 10 16 21 33 46 – 30
03-Oct-2008 03 07 09 16 35 41 44 – 46
The numbers drawn last Friday were all bunched up – four numbers in a row and a lonely twenty 27 then three even forty numbers in a row. It is no wonder why no one won the grand prize. So this week the grand prize is worth 12 Million.
When I look at all the free statistics on the super seven lottery I see lots of numbers but nothing that would give me any sort of advantage. Here is an example of free lottery stats
Super Seven draws since June 10, 1994 to November 7, 2008. The table shows the number – regular draw occurences – bonus number occurences – total occurences – last week drawn

When you look at all the stats it looks very impressive.
When you divide the number of super seven lottery draws (753 in this example) by the number of number occurences in this example least at 90 (every 8.36 draws) and most at 134 (every 5.61 draws) you get what some stats guys call the number “cycles”. I do not think that cycles will help me predict the next winning numbers.
If anyone has actually won using cycles please post a comment of how it is used.
I think that seven random numbers may work just as well as the most sophisticated convergent cycle analysis.
Remember the reality formula
random data in + sophisticated mathamatical analysis = random data out
Good luck everyone

Did you cry at not winning the 40 million dollar lottery draw on Saturday? I did.
Yes it was another 4 dollars down the drain. Another 4 bucks to the government. So they can not do even more.
So this week I will try the Super Seven Lottery Draw on November 7th, 2008. The grand prize is 10 million.
So now I have to decide – How to win the super seven lottery. Do I do my usual – just pick 7 random numbers – do I try a system – do I look at past numbers – pick the first seven numbers I see walking down the street – or just let the computer pick for me.
I will start looking at the latest Super Seven lottery winning numbers
31-Oct-2008 07 10 13 14 23 39 41 – 16
24-Oct-2008 13 14 25 26 27 35 40 – 17
17-Oct-2008 13 14 15 25 36 38 44 – 24
10-Oct-2008 02 08 10 16 21 33 46 – 30
03-Oct-2008 03 07 09 16 35 41 44 – 46
Well I guess I should just pick two low numbers, 13, 14, a twenty, a thirty and a fourty. Will the drawn lottery numbers repeat again four times in a row? We will know Friday.
Maybe the internet knows I will use my search term “how to win the super seven lottery” to see what arrives.
When you see some of the lottery syndicates – they all sound like they are sure fire winners.
I finally found a group syndication report that invested $1655 in the lottery.
There is a total of $1,655 and 1,655 shares in the group. Spent $1,855 to buy 795 Super 7 tickets and 265 Encore tickets and received 265 free Super 7 tickets – Won $275, 132 free Super 7 tickets and 44 free Super 7 tickets with Encore. After seeing this report – it sort of reminds me of some of our office pool experiences. we would invest 2 bucks each to total 30 or 40 dollars would win 2 free tickets and 10 bucks. Then lose it all the next draw.
All the lottery syndicates look like a bigger and more expensive version of the losing office pool. If anyone tells you that the only way to win a lottery is to invest in a syndicate or a syndicate is a sure fire way to win you should know they are full of BS or have never invested in a syndicate and do not know any better.
OK back to reality
I will just pick seven random numbers – simple and fast. My 2 dollar thrill for the week.
Good luck everyone

Just for fun I have used the line “How to win 6/49 lottery prizes” as a search term – just to see what comes up.
I found wild claims stating guaranteed results, increasing results etc etc etc. The claims were supposedly from statistic geniuses, university math professors, accidental discoveries, secrets the lotteries did not want you to know. I am just waiting to see if someone has a lottery sytem direct from the area 51 aliens with their advanced math abilities.
Then just for more fun I used the term Complaints about lottery systems.
There are a few websites that have huge lists of real people – who paid real dollars for these lottery systems.

Some of the lottery system book reviews express complete frustration – even real anger.
“I can’t apply this book to anything, not even a lottery. This book is [...] completely and utterly useless. I’m crying. Think, the poor trees that suffered to make this “book”.”
Then I found a section on lottery frauds and lottery scams that involve fake lotteries.
The link to the warnings: http://www.consumerfraudreporting.org/lotterysamplelist.php
So after all of my research I will use a few simple rules.
How to Win 6/49 lottery Prizes
Buy legal 6/49 lotteries in my local residence.
Set a budget, that reflects the real risk reward of a lottery ( one chance in 32 of winning any prize) and treat it like a small entertainment expense not an investment or retirement fund.
Remember the lottery is a random draw. Past draws are meaningless.
Thousands of people have used 6/49 lottery systems that do not work.
If you want to increase your chances of winning the lottery buy more tickets. I will spend $4. – this will increase my chances by 100% over just buying one ticket.
Good luck everyone
