The lottery is intended for Ontario residents. Tickets can not be mailed to addresses outside of Ontario, purchasers must be IN the province of Ontario to purchase tickets.
Odds are calculated by dividing the number of tickets available by the number of prizes to be awarded. The odds of winning are approx 1 in 3. Every ticket is eligible for each draw. Number of tickets sold and printed – 76,900 will be sold and 3,845 will be awarded as Early Bird prizes, for a total of 80,745. The total number of prizes to be awarded is 23,449.
Tickets are $100 each. Packages of three tickets are available for $250 each and packages of six tickets are $450 each. According to Canada Revenue Agency regulations, charity lottery ticket purchases are considered entertainment, not a direct donation, Therefore no tax receipt for ticket purchases.
Car cash prize alternatives are as follows: Early Bird: 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder, packaged with $15,000 trip voucher and $10,000 cash voucher (Cash Value of package is $50,000). Final Draw Vehicle 1: 2009 Toyota Highlander Hybrid (Cash Value is $40,000), and Final Draw Vehicle 2: 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan (Cash Value is $20,000).
