Yes it is that time again – when the huge size of the Lotto Max and 6/49 Grand prizes have acquired my attention.
Usually the 13.5 million to one and the 63 billion to one chance of winning common sense stops me from reaching into my pocket.
The emotional – yes someone has to win – why not me – be positive – think like a winner – part of my brain says – yeah why not – you have wasted far more time and money on less deserving financial projects.
So here we go again: the 6/49 grand prize for November 12, 2011 is 22 Million – The Lotto Max for November 18, 2011 is 50 Million plus 17 Million in extra prizes.
I will form some lottery groups and invest one dollar in part of some 6/49 and lotto Max tickets. To be honest I am happy with a quarter of the 22 or 50 Million dollar prizes. Losing 2 dollars is better than losing 7 dollars. If we win as a group then we will all have money and can enjoy the prize together. This is much better for long term happyness.

This program shows that I can expect to lose for about 76 weeks then win 10 dollars.
My actual lottery experience is very close to this program simulation.
