This means there have been millions of losers for the past few weeks. Big prizes mean big losers.

So what kind of rational will I use this time.

It is just after Christmas – got the visa and amex bills – they are not going away on their own – having 20 or 30 million in the bank will mean that I never have to worry abount my credit card debt again.

I am getting ready to organize my taxes and then it hits me – I have 3 part time jobs – just to pay the bills – and really I am sliding backwards – not getting ahead – my industry is shrinking – the pay levels are declining each year as the recently un-employed from other professions are willing to take less in mine. Predictions are less work and less money for the next 10 years.

I have additional negative thoughts – Rob sent in a link to a computer program that simulates a lottery player’s experience. I played and it appears that I have to invest about $76 dollars to win 10. Check it out for yourself – the link is in the comments.

My strategy will be to find 6 other losers – buy one 6/49 ticket and one lotto max ticket. I can risk one dollar.

I wonder if this can be claimed as a tax deduction?

Usually the 13.5 million to one and the 63 billion to one chance of winning common sense stops me from reaching into my pocket.

The emotional – yes someone has to win – why not me – be positive – think like a winner – part of my brain says – yeah why not – you have wasted far more time and money on less deserving financial projects.

So here we go again: the 6/49 grand prize for November 12, 2011 is 22 Million – The Lotto Max for November 18, 2011 is 50 Million plus 17 Million in extra prizes.

I will form some lottery groups and invest one dollar in part of some 6/49 and lotto Max tickets. To be honest I am happy with a quarter of the 22 or 50 Million dollar prizes. Losing 2 dollars is better than losing 7 dollars. If we win as a group then we will all have money and can enjoy the prize together. This is much better for long term happyness.

How I pick my lottery numbers

I will choose 3 cold, 2 normal and 1 plus number for my six picks

cold = one number single digit, one in the teens and one forties
normal = two from the twenties
plus = one from the thirties

I am going to share a ticket with my valentine – have to spend my 10 bucks from the last 6/49 winning numbers.

I am all pumped up because I just won 10 bucks on the Feb 12 6/49 lottery and have the money ready to go.

I will just buy one of those terrible Lotto Max sucks tickets and one of the 6/49 tickets buy a card for under 3 bucks and presto – I have solved 3 problems all at once – what to do with my winnings – last-minute valentine shopping – entertaining myself with the two of the bigger lottery grand prizes occurring in the same week together.

Because I also want to win either or both of these 35 or 43 million dollar jackpots and retire into my new profession of adult toy testing – I will use all of my best guesses.
